How to use portforward.com to Forward your Ports

If you are connecting to the internet with the aid of a router, then you must perform an action called 'forwarding ports' to be able to view your cameras online. Since there are hundreds of routers out on the market today, each with its own unique settings and setup proceedures, EZ Watch Pro cannot provide step-by-step directions on each and instead relies on third-party websites such as portforward.com to provide those directions.

To begin, you must have the make and model of your router handy. This is normally on a sticker on the back or bottom of the unit, but may also be printed on the front of your router. Once you have the make and model, go to PortForward.com.

Find your router on the list provided, and select it. Most routers will, at the top of the page, have a 'Default Guide' link you can click on. This Default Guide will provide you with instructions to configure your router to forward any port. You must perform these instructions several times to set up multiple ports. The ports that need to be forwarded are :

Version 3.1 : Port 1001 (Live View & Playback), Port 1901 (Remote Control), and Ports 80 or 8000 (Web View)

Version 4.0 : Port 5150 (Live View), Port 5160 (Playback), Port 5140 (Remote Control), and Ports 80 or 8000 (Web View)

ArmorPro DVR : Port 7620, Port 7621, Port 7622, Port 7623, Port 7624, and Port 80 (Web Port)
